I've worked as a veterinarian for more than 25 years across the United Kingdom and Australia, caring for cats and speaking with thousands of the people who live with them.

Over that time, I came to understand just how much of a cat's care happens at home.

It happens in the small, everyday things: noticing a change, understanding a behaviour, giving a tablet, changing a diet, monitoring progress, or knowing when to contact your veterinarian.

I live with two cats, Skoda and Minna, and everything on this site gets tested against the same question I'd ask in my own home: will this help my own two cats - Skoda and Minna?

I'm a Queensland-registered veterinarian and a long-standing member of the Feline Veterinary Medical Association. WellCat brings that veterinary experience beyond the consultation room and into the everyday care of cats.
